Teacher’s Guide to State of the Environment Report for British Columbia

This educators’ resource guide provides the background information and tools necessary to engage secondary students with the means of answering the four questions that are the centre of State of Environment reporting: what is happening to the environment; why is it happening; why is it significant and what are we doing about it. This guide is completed by the State of Environment report released by the provincial government in 1993 and subsequent Environmental Trends reports released on a more frequent basis.
