The variety of activities address data, mapping, and image interpretation skills, decision-making, and investigations of local environments.
The Ground Truth Studies workshop is an interactive, outdoor and indoor workshop will take you through the basic skills and ideas needed for teaching about “ground truthing”. Detailed background information will be provided as well as the time to try a selection of the 29 activities in the Ground Truth Studies Teacher Handbook. Participants will leave with a good understanding of the links between global and local environmental issues, basic mapping and interpretation skills, and the tools to guide learners to create and seek solutions.Go to Top
